Mandelmania, Lee H. Skinner Images
Hi Lee, a big thank you for those images. They are fantastic and they are a new experience to me as I never have seen images made by my formulas except my own. I definetely hope there will be more. For me the best one is the last one. "Velociraptor", a kind of dinosaurer I think, is really is a suitable name for those structures. Presently I`m working on a big thing and I can understand Jim´s problems with his cd, as everytime I think its done, I come onto new things that make it better or more complete. Hopefully it will be ready for the next digest. Fractal greetings, Al.
Hi fractinters, is there no more activity on the fractint list? Since 04.17.2003 this is the first mail from the fractint list sent to me.. Tim, is there something wrong with our mail server? Please let me know if there were mails on the list between 17 and 23 April .. Thanks, Guy At 09:22 25/04/03 +0200, you wrote:

I'm sure I posted a message (about problems reproducing images from Jeff Berkowitz's "Fractal Cosmos") in that time frame - did you get it? I am about to post a query about the "makefcfg" utility, so you should get that soon. Cheers Jim White --- Guy Marson <guy.marson@mnhn.lu> wrote: > Hi fractinters,

no, nothing.. since April 1.th I had some 10-12 fractint-list mails 'til today, maybe do to a badly managed spam filter (here)
I am about to post a query about the "makefcfg" utility, so you should get that soon.
thanks a lot!! How can I get the mails with *.frm and *.par's maybe someday at Paul N. Lee's homepage, as condensed files, or maybe by mail to my address?
Cheers

There have been a few postings since the 17th of this month. Four were on the 18th.

If there are new FRM files, the I add them to the ORGFORM collection which I have been updating since George Martin stopped doing back around October 1999. At that time the collection of 58 files was only 674-KB in size (as it still exists on 'Spanky'). I have added hundreds of additional formulae since then, and it now contains 272 files at a size of 1.43-MB, which may be found at this URL: http://www.Nahee.com/Software/ORGFORM.ZIP Sincerely, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
Hello everybody I can not get the MAKEFCFG program to run on a Win2000 PC, it falls over - the PC has an Intel 82815 graphics controller but I can not identify any compatible video options that I can use for FRACTINT. Has anybody had a similar problem? Cheers Jim WHite __________________________________________________ Yahoo! Plus For a better Internet experience http://www.yahoo.co.uk/btoffer

You might try using a DOS boot disk created from a Win-98 system, and then run the program under DOS only. Sincerely, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
