Hi Gerald, Yes, I'm the Anthony Hanmer who posted some L-systems a long while ago. Thank you for answering my questions. Actually, of the 4 limitations I mentioned, the ones concerning maximum number of entries in a single .ifs or .ls file are the least important for me. I CAN always split up large files into smaller ones, and this is in fact what I have already done, so no worries. I was more hoping to have the other 2 limits removed - those on LS string length (160 characters) and IFS object number (32). But again, these are not limits which really threaten or even prevent my main work - at the moment. However, if Fractint is moving out of its format into somthing less restricted in the future, I ask that all 4 of these limitations be remembered and removed - IF that is possible. If not, life goes on and it's STILL the best fractal programme around! Gerald's statement is pretty accurate about memory imitations causing the limits. However I'll check, perhaps some of those limits could be loosened. Changing the limits in Xfractint would be easy, but then you'd lose Fractint compatability. Tim
