FOTD 03-08-05 (End of the Journey [6])
FOTD -- August 03, 2005 (Rating 6) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's slow fractal, which is named "End of the Journey", shows the midget that lies invisibly at the center of yesterday's image. Once again, as in almost all very deep images, the sur- rounding features are nearly circular. This consistent circu- larity is the main reason I so rarely explore very deep in the Mandelbrot set. The image is not all that bad however, and rates a somewhat above average rating of 6. But the render time of almost 2 hours is quite slow. I recommend saving time by downloading the completed GIF image from the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> With a high temperature of 93F 34C, Tuesday was simply too hot for the cats to enjoy themselves outdoors. They tried the holly patch for a few minutes, then, when they found it too warm, they came inside to spend the day under the cool air. For me it was an average day. Today is starting about the same. I expect similar things from the duo. The next FOTD, hopefully better, will be posted in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and when is never forever?
