There are so few FOTD's with a rating below a 4 because I discard these images and never use them. In the rather distant past, I have posted a few FOTD's with a rating as low as 2, and a number of images with a rating of 3. When I rate an FOTD image, I compare it to all my fractals, including those that never make FOTD. I would be more correct if I compared my FOTD images with only the other images that actually made FOTD's. BTW, you also have never seen a rating of 10. Jim M.
