Thank you for the kind words about Requiem. It was actually made using a non-public version of fractint that Robin Bussel sent me that was addressing the registers of my sound card at the time - a SoundBlaster Pro - incorrectly. It produced very strange sounds, chirps and beeps and all sort of odd things. Most of it was pretty nasty sounding, but occasionally I would find very intriguing and sometimes even pleasing sounds. Requiem is one of those and indeed, one of my all-time favorites from fractint so far.

Bill, What a beautiful piece! I had no idea the audio fractals were that lovely. I had heard many quite a few years ago (I too am an early adopter of Fractint - version 2 or 3 was my first) and, though interesting, most seemed a bit too hard edged and robotic to be enjoyable.
