Hal - No to your question; my understanding (if correct) is that no two minibrots (out of an infinite number of them!) are EXACTLY identical (aside from the symmetry about the real axis). The differences may be too small to see, even an infinitesimal difference that you wouldn't see until you zoomed in a zillion times, but different they are. And NONE EXACTLY resemble the parent brot! Also, every single one of the minibrots are connected! It is ONE set - there are no minibrot "isolated" lakes! The connecting "line" also may be infinitesimally thin, but it is there. However, if you zoom in and explore around, you can find some minibrots that are distorted enough to easily see - like one lobe of the main cardiod bigger than the other, or a warp/distortion in shape somewhere. There are lots of these - I have seen many in my fractal travels. Stay Amazed! JoTz
