Very cool. Thanks for taking the time to do that. I also had trouble getting a good palette. Thats why I used that orange one that seems to work for most anything. I spent a few months last year improving Fracton's color palette editor to make it easier to use. I quickly discovered that an easy to use editor is only a small part of getting nice colors. I can quickly change the colors from one I don't like to another I don't like. Its hard to find a path to get something good. I have had the best success using color maps from Paul's color map collection. Jim Muth seemed to always come up with some really nice coloring. I hope he gets his computer issues sorted out. I have one animation I especially want to try. It has some morphing tendrils that extend into the inside area of a distorted minibrot. Maybe this will inspire me to try to get it done.
