Hi, I don't think that is a FAT issue, but I can tell you how to extract the DLL Get the file out of the cabinet with WinZip or similar, it will be called MSVCRT.DL_ . In a dos window, type 'extract' it will list instructions, but it is usually just 'extract blah.dl_ blah.dll' Hope this helps, but make sure you keep copies of file that you overwrite, in case it gets worse Paddy
