Spam is one thing, but when I opened my e-mail box last evening after a 3-day absence, I found over 750 spams, many with a 70KB attachment waiting to be downloaded. Since I have a slow dial-up connection, each attachment takes almost one minute to download.<<<
Yeah, this is Blaster worm, or whatever Worm-de-Jour. The company I work for has been getting over 500 a day, but the virus checker on our email server deletes the attachment before it gets to the end user. I would suggest signing up with an ISP that has similar software. Better yet, find an ISP that lets you optionally view your email on the web. That way you can view a list of all your messages on a web site and either read them, or delete them without reading them. You can still use your regular email client. Personally, I think computer users should have to pass a 'drivers license' test before they're allowed on the internet. Nick
