Now, this "FREEWARE" software seems to be getting away from allowing others access, not only the information about it (Spanky server being down and out) but to the source code.
Rich is responsible for his version, which is maintained outside our fractint.net subversion repository. He certainly has my blessing to maintain it as he wishes, since it represents untold hours of his hard work.
So you are implying that Rich's "beta" versions of FractInt, running under Windows, are no longer "open source" software ?? Does that also mean he can sell it or charge a fee if he so chooses ??
Thanks for the pointer to Rich's version.
You are more than welcome. :-) Sincerely, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
