Fracton can now do 3D fractals and rather than derail this thread I will make a separate post about Fracton. If you would like to see more 3D quaternion fractals, there are some images on the Fracton website. Go to the following link and click on the Parabulb 3D category. http://www.fracton.org/exploration/index.html The Parabulb 3D category has two quaternions combined together to make an even more complicated fractal using the parallel resistor formula. I would like to thank Hal Lane for doing the research on the quaternion formulas and getting the first quaternions working in Fracton. The images I mentioned are based on Hal's formula.
