Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:
I see on the list that fractals are no longer good enough. We now have superfractals.
yes, i think they are very good :)
I wonder why we need superfractals when plain old fractals are infinite in an infinity of ways. Isn't this super enough?
but it is good to see the progression and mapping of such into 3d, the way we humans perceive the world.
After all, it already takes a super-man to visualize the entire four-dimensional Z^2+C Julibrot in a single moment of time.
i imagine it must do, i certainly can't, can you ? i wish i could perceive all those hidden dimensions, unfortunately i don't understand maths and while Z^2+C Julibrot may make perfect sense to you, i simply cannot visualise it no matter how hard i try and i'm grateful to those who can map such and similar to 3d. i found this image incredibly good because one can see the mandel in it http://ixitol.com/NeoT-set.GIF and atm i am fascinated that i can create similar in apo, albeit 2d and the 3d is an illusion bought about by clever shading: http://www.sende.co.uk/Apophysis-060908-1md.jpg i would love to see the art or maths or programming progressing so that such could be mapped to 3d, i think it would then be quite beneficial scientifically, but in which way i am not sure yet. sammi
