Several of use implemented genuine 3D hypercomplex and quaterbion fractals in POV-Ray. Because POV-Ray is such a powerful renderer, this is a good way to go to make 3D fractals. On fractint julibrot is "genuine 3d", but it just has one simpleminded renderer Tim
