. what is the big deal with gigapans (very large images) and what does it have to do with fractals, or am I missing something? also, you CAN easily make multimegapixel images with fractint, I made default mandelbrots at 24000 x 18000 for 12 Meg size; I was hoping to print out a 4x6 foot poster but noone can do it :( .
