FOTD -- March 25, 2014 (Rating A-8,M-7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's scene lies at the eastern edge of the blade of the prominent 'fan' in the oversized parent fractal that results when 11 negative parts of Z^(-1.1) are combined with 1.1 negative parts of Z^(-11.1) and (1/C) is added on each iteration. The name "Lofty Aspirations" can mean whatever the individual fractalist wishes. To me it represents the endless search for better fractals. The art aspect of the image is worth an exceptional 8, mostly due to the brilliancy of the image. The math rating of a 7 is still above average, though held down by over-use. The calculation time of 4-1/4 minutes borders on slowness. A quick trip to the web sites can speed up things notably however.
