I just got my new Linux system up and running, internet and all. It is the Mint distro.
(My first choice was SUSE but I couldn't figure out how to get internet setup so it was "useless").

Now I fiddled with Xfractint years ago and was less than totally impressed. Has it been improved recently? Anyone here have experience with it and can give me some feedback?

I wonder if it will have better performance in Linux then DOS fractint under DOS/Windoze.

And I cant find it online!? Where is the current version for download?
