Hi Barry, I don't have suggestions on how to make the 16-bit DOS FRACTINT work better for you under Windows 2000. However, I would suggest that you try beta 5 of FractInt for Windows, which is a native Win32 version of FractInt. <http://blogs.xmission.com/legalize/2007/04/13/fractint-for-windows-beta-5/> Beta 5 lacks mouse support, but is generally pretty stable. I am working on beta 6 which I hope will be the last beta before an official release. I will make an announcement here and on my blog when beta 6 is available. This *is* a beta, so you may experience some problems but so far only a few minor issues have been reported. -- "The Direct3D Graphics Pipeline" -- DirectX 9 draft available for download <http://www.xmission.com/~legalize/book/download/index.html> Legalize Adulthood! <http://blogs.xmission.com/legalize/>
