Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Most of today's discussion appears on the philofractal list.

Today's image is a scene in the fractal that results when 0.3 
part of Z^4 is subtracted from Z^2 and C is added.  The bubbly 
effect was achieved by rendering the image with the inside set 
to 'bof60'.  Since I do not feel like thinking of names, I gave 
the image a date instead of a name.  I gave it no rating.  The 
render time is slightly slow, but the finished GIF image is 
available on the FOTD web site at:

The weather is absolutely perfect, and is forecast to remain 
perfect for the rest of the week.  Maybe the perfect weather 
will take the fractal cats' minds off of the suffering of the 
cats in the Gulf Coast area.  The next FOTD, which will be 
lots of philosophy and little fractal talk, will appear in 24
