Hi Jim, I've got to go with the 'change your motherboard' crowd. Given the age of your box, if it starts and then goes blank after a few minutes I think that one of the circuits heats up, expands and severs. When you shut it down it cools, shrinks and 'miraculously' reconnects only to 'break' again as it gets hot. Alex Dukay
