To begin, I mentioned no program and no author, though the program to which I was referring was obvious, and I did comment that the program in question was a fine program. I did not state that the Fractint code had been stolen, though I did comment that some of it it might have supplied ideas, and in that way, have appeared in modified form in the other program. Finally, by my 'I'm an artist' comment, I implied that IMO it takes more than knowing how to use a computer program to be considered an artist. The word 'artist' implies creativity and originality. It does not imply doing the same things that the rest of the crowd is doing. Such people are better considered skilled craftsmen, which is what I consider myself. If you find this derogatory, I'm sorry. Jim M.
