What to call these structures? I call 'em scales, Jim Muth calls 'em terraces. It is my suggestion that someone
go to the expense and bother of convening an international conference on standardizing fractal graphic nomenclature.
I'd volunteer but I'm quite busy at the moment. Until then I'll have to make it up as I go along.
