Thanks guys, you've all been very understanding and helpful. I was a bit apprehrensive when I first posted as I remember the literally hundreds of posts on the subject a couple of years ago! The problem is that I found it impossible to get a legal English version except XT out here! As it's a new machine I thought that perhaps I'd better take the latest Windows. OK. Carlos the (sometimes sober) Compute tonight! If I don't find him I can leave messages on the lines of 'O senhor Chris says he has some new wine for you to try Carlos.' Works every time!
