a commercial (!) Windows-native fractal generator working with Fractint files is, of course, Ultra Fractal.
Latest version is 6.02.
According to the manual, some exceptions notwithstanding, the UF "formula compiler is largely compatible with Fractint's parser and most Fractint formulas can be used without modification".

While I'm here, does anyone know of a Windows-native fractal generator that works with Fractint files? Any recommendations for favorite fractal generators? I've been out of the loop (pun intended) for 15 years.
