Beta 4 was fine , as far as I'm concerned, but Beta 5 wont work for me. Each time I try to render a fractal, I end up with a message "Disk Video mode".. regardless of the chosen screen resolution. Now what have I done incorrectly?
You can't select a GDI video mode from <DEL>?
I can, but it is annoying to generate an image in a GDI mode, save it then have the default when I restore it be the corresponding disk video mode. Being used to fractint, I'm just used to hitting 'enter' twice after highlighting the file I want to restore without looking and fractint gives me the original video mode. So, it is annoying and would be nice to have fixed, but the images load fast so hitting del and selecting the GDI mode isn't much burden and as annoyances go, it is minor. Which leads me to a very big THANK YOU! to you for your work on getting Fractint into Windows. Mike
