The most convenient way to see the image is to download it from the FOTD web site at:
As always, I still create the web pages for Jim's FOTD postings by hand (something I have been doing since 1997).
When Jim finally is able to send an FOTD for the day, I may or may not be available to receive the email and begin the process (which only takes a short time for the HTML portion, longer for the image, depending on the rendering time). Since I am still having to earn a living in the real world, my time is not devoted to creating the FOTD web page immediately upon the arrival of Jim's posting.
And when Jim stated on Monday that the next FOTD would "appear right here in about one week", I created the monthly index page to reflect those future days with the "NO FOTD notice". That has all changed now that I am home from work and have already uploaded the corrected web pages.
The philosophy appears as promised in the philofractal version of today's FOTD discussion.
As always, the web site for Jim's FOTD postings reflect the extended version of the daily postings, having all of the text from those FOTD postings at the PhiloFractal Discussion List.
Sincerely, P.N.L.
