JoTz, A very impressive zoom! In your par file, you have the following comment: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- All versions of fractint past 1995 freeze when encounter deep minibrots; I don't recall the exact depth where it starts. Since few people do really deep zooms, this "software issue" was apparently never reported and thus continues to persist. The last sequence in this viddie was thus done on fractint95, a little slower rendering but otherwise essentially the same. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ So, do you mean that this problem doesn't exist on earlier versions (19.xx) or versions of Fractint issued before the year 1995? (I'm not sure what fractint95 is!) How does it "freeze"? Does the code go into an endless loop, or does it just terminate abnormally? Does a minibrot have to be involved, or is it at some depth level that arbitrary precision freezes up? Do you know the approximate depth where this can occur, and do you have an example that you could use to report the problem? Lee
