If you want the non-SDL version of XFractint, check your Linux version's package manager. Debian has it, so I think Ubuntu has it, too. Simple answer is, no. Xfractint has a lot of the functionality of Fractint, but doesn't allow changing the window size, rotating the zoom box, color cycling, palette editing...

The 32-bit is referring to the compiler used to make the executable.
