If anyone is interested, here are 2 animations of Jim Muth's tessellation fractal, which was posted here recently. The following direct link will take you rite to these pretties: http://www.sonic.net/~jot/ufvp.html#tess BTW, all this recent talk of Warp-10 intrigues me. I remember from my old trekkie days the formula for "velocity" was C * e ^ w ; the speed of lite times the natural log raised to the power of the warp. Thus Warp-10 is about 22,000 times the speed of lite, which is serious cruisin' but technically not infinite; it would get you across the galaxy in about 5 years, excluding relativistic effects. I do recall one ep from the original series where the "Orion" creatures were trying to disrupt some interstellar diplomatic conference or something. They buzzed the Enterprise at Warp-10. The explanation given was that since they were on a "suicide mission" and "never intended to return", they could use "100% energy" and achieve the "impossible" speed of Warp-10. I never understood that reasoning ... Long Live the Cult of Fractint! JoTz
