Another Oops! In my post Paul N.Lee's Questions and Oops! there is a poorly worded sentence.
What reads   "The Disk/RAM entries in fractint.cfg can be edited in Notepad to provide custom resolutions.I copied some lines from the default Fractint.cfg as an example.The new cfg file must be saved in the old txt format. " should read
       "The Disk/RAM entries in fractint.cfg can be edited in Notepad to provide custom resolutions.I copied some lines from the default Fractint.cfg as an example.The new cfg file must be saved in the ANSI text format with the "cfg" extension (without the quotation marks)" 
       Why do I notice these things only after I post something?
       Today's fractals demonstrate the initorbit command.  Press the G key which brings up the interactive startup parameter screen to enter values.These instructions were taken from the Fractint manual.
"Enter values in the form
  INITORBIT=pixel
  INITORBIT=nnn/nnn
  Allows control over the value used to begin each Mandelbrot-type orbit.
  "initorbit=pixel" is the default for most types; this commandi
  initializes the orbit to the complex number corresponding to the screen
  pixel. The command "initorbit=nnn/nnn" uses the entered value as the
  initializer."
         I start with values between +.5 and -.5, initorbit=pixel resets to default behaviour This command appears to work on built in mandel formulas only, Julias are unchanged.The included pars are of a mandel and a mandellamda.
