FOTD -- June 10, 2004 (Rating 6) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: With the work falling behind again, and a potential new customer to impress, today's discussion will be very short. The image continues the same complex-powers theme of the most recent FOTD's, the major difference being that today I have rendered the scene with the outside set to 'tdis'. I named the image "Perpetual Outcast" on a whim. The result is different enough for the image to be rated a 6. The short render time of 2 minutes raises the overall value to 276. The overall value becomes meaningless when the completed image is downloaded from the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> With lots of hazy sun, humidity, and a temperature of 91F 37C, the Wednesday weather inclined the fractal cats to do nothing but lounge under the holly trees and enjoy life. In the evening I treated them to a dish of tuna, though it really was not necessary. Today is starting warm again, but rain is supposed to be on the way. We'll see how the dynamic duo takes these conditions. The work today is piled high, a clear sign to get busy. Until next FOTD, which might not be until June 15, take care, and be patient. The best is yet to come.
