First of all, it is nice to see that the FOTD's are basically still being posted on a regular basis. And, that your five day outage, between September 18 until September 23, has not caused the FOTD postings to completely stop. Hopefully you will soon be caught up from the three or four workdays that you lost. After seeing at least three of the older FOTD images slightly altered and then re-posted as a "Classic" using the original dates, and noticing that several (if not most) of those older FOTD postings have had the original text altered in various places before re-posting, would it not be just as easy to make it a whole new posting?? For example, you apparently have read through the complete text of this original posting. Then modified the first line of the email, and the "Name" in the first paragraph. The second paragraph has had at least two alterations, followed by one in the next paragraph, and more changes further on. And since you have also been taking out the references to the Usenet Newsgroups: news:alt.binaries.pictures.fractals news:alt.fractals.pictures where you used to post to back then, why not just as well add in Scott's web hosting URL ?? What's one more modification over the original?? And all of this leads to another question. Will the "FOTD CD" have both versions of these postings (the original and the modified)??
