I have always wondered if there could be a fractal program to convert sound fed into it into a visual fractal, either a still or an animation. Seems it should be possible; the sound data could "seed" the equation(s) in the fractal generator. Perhaps it could just change the colours in a map; depends on whether you want a realtime visualizer. I would like to compare what we get with classic Beatles and Doors compared with todays garbage rock. Classics and Jazz would be interesting also. Just musing .... Still trying to animate the PakMan .... not much luck yet .... Vary the x-value on the inversion point from about -1.396 to about -1.397 (and back) for about ten frames--maybe thirty if you want it slow. You will also need to vary the scaling values, because it is bigger at invert=0.0016776448/-1.397/0 . You might get away with varying the inversion radius in parallel with the inversion point. It won't hurt to cycle the colours, too. Stay cool. . Stay gruntled.
