For one thing, this "4th dimension" stuff is nonsense. There IS no 4th spatial dimension perceivable to human senses; I have never fully understood what people mean when they are talking about it relating to fractals.
I have seen those "quat" animations before, Russ Walsmith has done a few, and there are some on youtube. They look intriguing but I never knew how to do it in fractint. (kinda looks like dough in a bread machine).
If you (or someone else) can give me some code the fractint formula parser can deal with, and suggest parameter values / ranges, I would be glad to see what I can do with it.
In fact, I would welcome this since I have totally run out of ideas for animations! My 4 main systems are chugging away on the E+112 zoom but I'm sure they would welcome a change from the monotony for a while.
