Wouldn't surprise me if both EMACS and vi came with linux. I know vi comes with most unices.
vi is what I've usually used on *NIX. I ran a search on the CorelLinux box, and it does have EMACS. Also has a thing called XEMACS, I assume that's an X-aware EMACS. Hmmm, still think I should update to a more modern Linux, but at least I can start fooling around with EMACS. David gnome@hawaii.rr.com
