Albrecht, all, You said:
hope You´ll like this image. I do. Please advise, if You have any difficulties generating. Probably will not run under Windows.
If the image I calculated is the one you created, then, yes, I like it a lot. Is this (below) the correct fractal, Albrecht? I adjusted the .PAR info and calculated the image using DOS Fractint 20.04.4 under WinXP. Here's the adjusted version of your .PAR file that I used: http://www.emarketingiseasy.com/TESTS/FOTD/MFR149F.PAR I also applied Damiscena Korwin's Leather Gem color map. Her 1998 Fractal Art Contest entry Leather Gem is here: http://www.fractalartcontests.com/1998/entries/01-013.htm My anti-aliased 1200x900 pixel image is here: http://www.emarketingiseasy.com/TESTS/FOTD/MFR149G.jpg For the adventuresome who might be interested in the greater (unanti-aliased) detail in the image before it was downsampled, here's the 3MB 4096x3072 version: http://www.emarketingiseasy.com/TESTS/FOTD/MFR149F.gif Both Firefox & IE7 can show the large file OK on my WinXP system. Be sure to click the image once to see it at full size. (I like to use an image viewer that allows me to "drag" different areas of an oversize image onto the screen -- instead of having to find and "aim for" and exactly "hit" the scroll bars in my browser.) - Hal Lane ######################### # hallane@earthlink.net # #########################
