<delurk mode> I don't usually delurk except to make a wise@ss comment... but I might actually help here. I have used the ATI Xpert at play 98, which has a S-video and VHS video output. Fractint runs very nicely via these outputs... at lower resolutions like 640x480 and 800x600 (higher resolutions do not reproduce well on the TV) This might be a good method... as videotapes are cheap and easy compared to "running" the computer live. <relurk mode> H^) harry bissell

Why a tape? Fractint can be made to run with parameters. Perhaps you can just set up something that invokes a fractal for a while, and then shuts it down and starts another.
I'm not very expert with fractint...does it have a "slideshow" mode?
Failing that, perhaps a simple program to start it up with a given set of settings, let it run for a while and then kill it and reinvoke it with another set?
