I think it was free initially and then that changed and I just folded it into my existing xmission bill. It doesn't cost much, so no need to change it.
Thanks, Richard! I really enjoyed your hi res, highly anti-aliased versions of Jim Muth's Fractal of The Day when you were doing those! I also used your Fractint-like "Iterated Dynamics" (I think it's called) program extensively when I calculated and put Jim Muth's fractals (and my variations) on my server when the late Paul N. Lee stopped hosting them. - Hal Lane ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## -----Original Message----- From: Richard <legalize@xmission.com> Sent: Monday, May 8, 2023 10:32 PM To: FractInt Discussion <fractint@mailman.xmission.com> Subject: [Fractint] Re: Funding of Fractint mailing lists In article <CAFLr274BiQiS__vknNEncTAyd2gmTEzOq-8GvfxyzcTE1shrFA@mail.gmail.com>, Timothy Wegner <tim@tswegner.net> writes:

Actually, I pay for it.
I appreciate the correction. Of course I knew you were instrumental in getting the fractint lists set up with xmission, but all these years I was under the impression xmission was providing a free service that you had organized. So we owe that thanks to you also for paying for it as well as the thanks for getting it set up!
