David,
I have a Disk 'Video' mode set up as:
,Disk/RAM 'Video',3,0,0,0,11,2048,1536,256
But when I generate fractals using it, they always come out at 1024x768. At the same time, I have a similar mode setup for 2048x2048:
AF6,Disk/RAM 'Video',3,0,0,0,11,2048,2048,256
And that one generates a properly-sized image.
What am I doing wrong, or is this something in the version of Fractint (20.2.05) that I'm using?
It works fine for me. How are you determining that the image is the incorrect size?
Opened it in PMView for OS/2, which doesn't have any problems showing correct sizes with any other fractal images I generate. Also tried IrfanView for Windows. On the list of video modes Fractint offered me, I found that there were two different lines for 2048x1536 disk video, and one of them had a "v," appearing in it. When I checked my fractint.cfg file, those two different lines were there, neither had a "v," but both had the same key combo assigned to therm. So I deleted the second line, saved it, and the problem disappeared. David gnome@hawaii.rr.com
