I've just been searching for widgets to add to one's blog, under the term "fractal". Seems there aren't any. I was thinking, for example, of something which lets the blog viewer input coordinates for the Mandelbrot set, by numbers or by pointing the mouse; or allows one to try out iterations of a choice of L-systems, or to play with holons of an IFS. These would be really cool to have. Anyone interested in programming such?
Maybe they didn't show up under widgets, but people have been writing fractal generators that run in the browser via java/javascript/whatever for quite some time. -- "The Direct3D Graphics Pipeline" -- DirectX 9 draft available for download <http://www.xmission.com/~legalize/book/download/index.html> Legalize Adulthood! <http://blogs.xmission.com/legalize/>
