By default, Cortana has an active keylogger sending your keystrokes to Microsoft. If that's not malware, then why do you worry about an "unknown" site (like Imgur, which apparently is unknown only to you) leaving a cookie when you visit their site? You know the saying, if the service is free, *you* (private info about you) are the product they sell. Applies to MS, Twitter, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, etc. So install Cookie Autodelete, a good ad blocker, route your browsing through TOR, and get your own domain. Then you - and others - don't have to worry. Enough from me. On January 31, 2018 2:15:24 PM HST, Albrecht Niekamp <Multifrac@t-online.de> wrote:
True, but that´s a different story. You know that when you install it and take care. And MS is not malware, hopefully, but unknown sites, that collect data ?? Albrecht
