---- Hal says -------- Albrect's multifractals are a large technical advancement in Fractint formulas. The main thrust of the multifractal formula is "artist endeavors." That said, these images can be used as the basis for other endeavors, such as music. ------------------------- Thanks for that definition that I am able to confirm. The final Multifractal software needed several years to complete. In the beginning there were only experiments in order to find out if it was possible at all to create fractal images consisting of several parts and frms, but still a new kind of image and later, when the procedures were standardized, the relations between them were transformed into hard rules capable of all theoretical possibilities. On one side every dot being iterated by a different frm or on the other side images clearly separated into differently sized parts with completely different parameters and colors. These multifractals are ideal to create fractal music if converted. The Midi standard itself can be modified in a similar way in connection with my "fractal" shifting rhythm as I have proven.
