And neither religion nor science has anything near an answer that is both believable and satisfying. With this kind of despairing mindset prevailing, no wonder the world is in such turmoil and so many are seeking relief in drugs and trivial distractions such as the plague of violent games now infesting our culture. unqte These are good words. Violence in life and in media and suicide by atomic disasters are symptoms of an apokalyptic end time scenario. I have my own theory about religion and human behaviour, only vagely connected to fractals. Not sure if it´s ok to discuss it here. Tell me. qte: As to how I maintain my interest in fractals, I do nothing. I have never lost the original fascination I felt when I saw the Scientific American article about the Mandelbrot set back in 1984. I have always loved math, mysteries and exploration. What better place to find these things than in the infinitely infinite world of fractals. unqte I must admit that after seven years of abscence from fractals the virus again has caught me.
