[Fractint] video card and laptop

Hi I've been having trouble with my computer at home and am wondering what your current recommendations for video cards are. I also was thinking of getting a laptop as a backup. I mainly use the computer for Fractint, Ultrafractal, e-mail and photoediting- TIA Kathy Roth
