yes, I figured that out eventually, and the
reason I wanted to get it pulled was for the reason you
mentioned...once out it's hard to get back. The reason I panicked
at first was thatI tested it on two browsers (not remembering that
I was logged into my Google account in both), and it looked like I
could get in to my account. It took me a few minutes to figure it
all out. Sorry for the display of ignorance.

First of all, nobody will be able to get into your Google page
unless they have signed up with Google.
Secondly, even if they do have a Google account, they will still
need your permission to access that area. Because they will get
the following if they do not have:

Want in? Ask the owner for access, or switch to
an account with permission.
Third, not that many people still read these emails from this
group.
And last, once the information has been distributed, it is very
difficult to remove it from all sources. :-)
