She earned a BFA in English with a creative writingemphasis from the University of Utah. She is the author of the poetry chapbook,Eden’s Edge,from Finishing Line Press and her work has been published in Brain,Child.Taylor’s poem, “Last Day of July,” published in Ellipsis: Literatureand Art, was aco-winner of the 2000 Academy of American Poets Contest. In 1998, she wonsecond place for creative nonfiction in the Utah Arts Council Creative WritingCompetition. Lisa Roullard wonthe Utah Art Council’s Original Writing Competition in Poetry in 2013.   Most featuredreadings are followed by an open reading.
