ForImmediate Release Contact: City Art Director Joel Long: joeltlong@yahoo.com City ArtPresents Poet Dave Nielsen Salt Lake Public Library Main Branch 210 East 400 South Salt Lake City UT 84111 Wednesday November 9th, 7:00—9:00 P.M.               Poet Dave Nielsen will read from hiswork on Wednesday, November 9th at the Salt Lake City Public Library at 7:00P.M. as part of the City Art Reading Series.  Dave Nielsen’s manuscript, Unfinished Figures, recently won the Blue LynxPrize and was published in September.  His poems have appeared in Ploughshares,The Southern Review, North American Review, The Cortland Review, Parnassus,Cutbank, and elsewhere.  He holds a PhD from the University ofCincinnati and has taught at several colleges and universities, includingXavier University, Northern Kentucky University, and University of Cincinnati.He lives in Salt Lake City.   Most featuredreadings are followed by an open reading.
