Writers Matty Glasgow and Diana Clarke will read from their works on Wednesday, January 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Public Library as part of the City Art Reading Series and the Utah Humanities Council Book Festival. This event is free and open to the public.

 

Matty Layne Glasgow is the author of deciduous qween (Red Hen Press, 2019), selected by Richard Blanco for the 2018 Benjamin Saltman Award. His recent poems have appeared in Crazyhorse, Denver Quarterly, Ecotone, Missouri Review, Poetry Daily, Houston Public Media, and elsewhere. He is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Utah where he serves as the Wasatch Writers in the Schools Coordinator and the Assistant Editor for Quarterly West. In his downtime, you can find him worshiping his holy trinity of trees, drag queens, and Kacey Musgraves. 

 

Diana Clarke is a New Zealander pursuing her PhD at the University of Utah. Her work has appeared in Black Warrior Review, DIAGRAM, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. Her debut novel, Thin Girls, is forthcoming from Harper Collins.
