City Art Presents writers Rachel Michelle Hanson and Sunni Brown
Wilkinson at The City Library (4th Floor Conference Room) on Wednesday, November
2nd at 7:00 PM.
Rachel Michelle Hanson's prose and poems can
be found in The Iowa Review, Creative Nonfiction, The
American Literary Review, The Minnesota Review, Entropy Magazine, and
elsewhere. Her essay “Education” was selected as one of the winning
nonfiction works for Best of the Net 2015 Anthology, and her essay “Breaking”
was the runner-up for the Tucson Festival of Books nonfiction prize. She holds
a PhD in Nonfiction from the University of Missouri (2016), and is currently
working on a hybrid work set on the Colorado River.
Sunni Brown Wilkinson’s poetry has been published or is forthcoming in Sugar House Review, Rock & Sling, Tar
River Poetry, Southern Indiana Review and other journals and anthologies
and has been nominated for two Pushcarts.
She is also the recipient of the Sherwin W. Howard Poetry Award from Weber: the Contemporary West. She holds
an MFA from Eastern Washington University, teaches at Weber State University
and lives in Ogden, Utah with her husband and three young sons.
Most featured
readings are followed by an open reading. City Art is sponsored by the Utah

Arts, and Park Fund.
