Jenn Gibbs’ diverse experience as a professional writer and editor makes her an engaging and versatile resource for fellow writers. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Bowling Green State University, and her stories and essays have appeared in The Chattoochee Review, Heartlands Today, Blueline, Where Women Create, and numerous art-and-craft how-to books published by Sterling, Lark Books, and Martingale Press. Jessica owes most of her accomplishments to coffee, without which nothing would ever get done. On the rare occasions she is able to relinquish her coffee mug, Jessica cultivates a new generation of writers by facilitating a writing workshop for sixth-graders at the local elementary school.

Most featured readings are followed by an open reading. City Art is sponsored by the Utah Arts Council, the Salt Lake City Arts Council, Catalyst, the Salt Lake City Public Library, Xmission, and the Zoo, Arts, and Park Fund.
