Jerry VanIeperen and Wendy Blankenship to read at City Art

            Writers Jerry VanIeperen and Wendy Blankenship will read from their work on March 21st at the Salt Lake City Public Library at 7:00 P.M. as part of the City Art Reading Series. 

Jerry VanIeperen lives in
Salt Lake City, Utah and is one of the founders/editors of the Sugar House Review and formerly worked as an editor for Petrogylph. He is a winner of Utah State University's creative writing contest and recently earned an MFA from the University of Nebraska. His poems have appeared in Black Rock & Sage, Bring the Ink, Scribendi, and The City Art Journal.
 
MFA in Creative Writing from Naropa. Most recently Wendy has been published in the Sugar House Review, Girls Without Insurance and Three Line Poetry. She is the co-author of Along the Black, a poetry and photography collaboration on wildland fires. Wendy lives in Salt Lake City and teaches 7th and 8th graders at Horizionte.
 
 
Most featured readings are followed by an open reading. City Art is sponsored by the Utah Arts Council, the Salt Lake City Arts Council, Catalyst, the Salt Lake City Public Library, Xmission, and the Zoo, Arts, and Park Fund.
